Nightly loop harvester 2026
Cratediggr
A 3am cron job that finds compatible track pairs, builds a mashup, and posts the video itself.
Every night at three, Cratediggr searches an Essentia index for pairs of tracks that are compatible both harmonically and rhythmically, fetches them from the NAS, extracts and stem-separates loops, and assembles a one-minute automix.
By half past seven the Mac has pulled the night's catch into a folder ready for Logic. The job also renders an MTV-style waveform video and posts it to Bluesky and Mastodon without being asked, which means the archive builds itself whether or not anyone is listening.
